Proof that the Power Bracelet exists in BS Zelda!
I don't know exactly how Armos awoke, but around 10 minutes later, he goes back to sleep, but later reawakens (at 4:20 he can be excited).
So, it may be possible to get the power bracelet without using the Pro Action Replay code
May, as It occured during one of the storms, and the guy 1 screen north and 1 screen west says

"We are lucky that Armos still sleeps"

at those times you can't do anything with the knights.

"Life was blown into Armos"

means you can get the power bracelet, which is really the whole point, though there may be some hidden stuff underneath some Armos knights, in the western half of the world.
There is one guy searching for a Red Ring, and another guy tells you where the silver arrows are! (not in level 9!).
now, if only I could find the Majic sword (may be a mistranslation), the Red Ring, and the Magic Key (if existing) if you want the save state, to see it in action, post on Snes9x message board
Also available, is a Save State with everything that is possible without cheating afaik (excluding this possibility), up through level 6.
